Principles of Document Control Management

BG&E Resources (BGER) is pleased to partner with Oracle once again to host the second instalment of our Document Control event series.

Tailored for document control and information management professionals, we saw more than 40 attendees gather – representing organisations across the Construction, Engineering, Manufacturing, Mining, and Resources sectors, to name a few.

After an introductory networking session over morning tea, Sixian Yip, Lead Document Controller at BGER, opened the event and introduced our facilitators, Christine Clement (Lynas Rare Earths) and Rob Musca (Oracle), who led engaging discussions among the panel members and attendees.

The panel featured industry professionals including Steve Ash from BGER, Grace Mason from Clough, Orlando Tonholi from Albemarle Corporation, and Rod McMullan from Oracle.

Together, the panellists explored the fundamental principles of document management, diving into topics such as the importance of document control, proactive advisory roles for project teams, and the lifecycle management of information. The session facilitated open discussions with attendees, fostering the exchange of valuable industry insights.

Document control is an essential part of managing information, and BGER is proud to contribute to collaborative discussions in this important field.
