BG&E Resources (BGER) was pleased to sponsor and attend the latest instalment of the Business Hunter Energy and Resources Lunch series last Friday.
Steve Rooth, Regional Lead – NSW at BGER, says “It was important for our team to attend and demonstrate our commitment to the Hunter Region and the communities within it.”
Keynote speaker Anthony Ham, Origin’s Group Manager of Coal Asset Operations, reflected on the 40-year history of the Eraring Power Station and discussed its current performance.
He also provided a glimpse into how Origin is preparing for the transition as the plant approaches closure later this decade, including support strategies for the workforce during this critical period.
BGER is proud to support an event series that offers a unique opportunity to engage with industry leaders and gain valuable insights into the energy generation sector’s challenges and opportunities.
