Rio Tinto (RTIO) has engaged BG&E Resources (BGER) to conduct a safety review regarding its overhead conveyors at both Brockman 2 and Nammuldi sites.
BGER’s Structural Engineers Adrian Goh and Thiago de Farias Silva Miranda performed a protection audit for any risks associated with falling objects such as materials, rocks, and idlers.
The project will look to provide high-level, preliminary design solutions to eliminate or mitigate the identified falling objects risks by identifying whether any further overhead protection is required on the conveyors.
Our Structural team has undertaken numerous structural inspections and asset inspections to support our clients in the resources, energy, and industrial sectors.
