We were engaged by Fortescue to complete the 30% engineering design for the upgrades to the existing and new Fire Systems across its Christmas Creek mine site.
Our teams reviewed the areas to upgrade and completed the 30% engineering design focusing on the fire water storage, supply and network distribution for the Ore Processing Facilities 1 (OPF1), Ore Processing Facilities 2 (OPF2), Stockyard/Train Load Out, Bulk Diesel Storage Facilities (BDSF), Remote Crushing Hub (RCH), Central Contractors Yard 1 (CCY1) and Central Contractors Yard 2 (CCY2) areas.
Following the 30% design phase, BGER was re-engaged to complete the detailed design to 100% IFC status in three of the areas – OPF2, BDSF and RCH.
